A letter from the CRA is stressful, especially when deadlines are short. We help you understand exactly what is being asked, gather the right documents, and respond clearly and on time. If returns are behind, we bring them up to date.
How it works
- Send us the letter: a photo is fine.
- Plan: we explain what it means, what is needed and the deadline.
- Respond: we prepare the response and supporting documents and deal with the CRA on your behalf when you authorize us.
Good to know
Since May 29, 2026 the CRA no longer has drop boxes. Documents are best sent online through a CRA account; we can submit them for you.
Who it's for
Individuals and businesses who have received a review letter, a request for documents, a notice of reassessment, or a collection call, and anyone with returns that are behind and needs to get back on track.
Letters we often help with
- Requests for receipts to support expenses, credits or deductions
- HST and payroll reviews and trust account examinations
- Notices of reassessment you disagree with
- Letters about unfiled returns or amounts owing
More questions
What if I disagree with a reassessment?
You generally have 90 days from the date of the notice to file a formal objection. Send us the notice early so we can review it and respond in time.
Can you speak to the CRA for me?
Yes, once you authorize us as your representative. We can then call, write and send documents on your behalf.
Can I get penalties reduced?
Sometimes. Where there were circumstances beyond your control, a taxpayer relief request may reduce penalties and interest. We tell you honestly whether it is worth applying.
